Project: Chicago Chinatown book (aimed at promoting tourism through the ethnic neighborhoods of Chicago)

My attraction to Chicago has always been because of its wide range of ethnic neighborhoods that span the city. I’ve made the decision to incorporate my curiosity of these neighborhoods into various design and photography projects. Originally I was going to comprise this book of the different ethnic neighborhoods that make up Chicago; but decided instead to create a series-one book for every neighborhood.

My first book is of Chicago’s Chinatown. I decided to have everything in the book translated in both Chinese and English for maximum impact and shot all the photographs myself.
